20 November 2023 - Corporate Geoscience Group ("CGSG") wishes to congratulate Plutonic Ltd (unlisted) on securing a $2M investment from Lion Selection Group Ltd (ASX:LSX).
According to Lion, Plutonic’s exploration work during 2023 at its wholly owned Champion project in the Northern Territory has identified the potential for never-before considered mineral systems over a large area, providing the basis for large exploration targets which could lead to district scale discoveries.
Plutonic is a key investment to Lion for the unique leverage to discovery it provides. A discovery of gold or copper mineralisation at Champion could result in meaningful value creation, which Lion has a strong exposure to via its high percentage ownership. This investment has been made for a low cost and currently represents a small proportion of Lion’s overall value. Robin Widdup, Lion Founder and Director said: “Lion is very pleased to be following its initial investment in Plutonic. The Champion district has taken an exciting turn during 2023 and it’s hard to think of as large targets anywhere else in Australia.”
CGSG is proud to have laid the technical and corporate foundation for the creation of Plutonic and the company’s move into what is arguably one of Australia’s last mineral exploration frontiers. We wish Plutonic the best of success for their 2024 exploration campaign.
10 October 2023 - Corporate Geoscience Group ("CGSG") wishes to congratulate Tri-Star Group on becoming one of the largest holders of exploration acreage in the German state of Saxony.

28 April 2022 - Corporate Geoscience Group ("CGSG") is excited about a 2 km-long gold- and copper-in-soil anomaly that has been identified by its client Bulletin Resources Ltd (ASX:BNR) at its Chifley gold project. This project was generated by CGSG as part of a targeting study of the BNR’s Lake Rebecca gold project and surrounds undertaken in 2020 (see news item dated 29 April 2020).
As per BNR’s March 2022 Quarterly Report, the Chifley gold project (E 28/3002) is c. 50 km S of the company’s Lake Rebecca project and on a NW-SE-striking splay off the Claypan Fault, a lithospheric-scale structure that hosts gold mineralisation such as at the nearby 1.7 Moz Lake Roe gold deposit owned by Breaker Resources NL (ASX:BRB).
A recent 800 m by 200 m grid pattern soil sampling program completed by BNR identified a 2 km-long target of coincident gold and copper anomalism over interpreted mafic and ultramafic sequences on the northern flank of a large granite pluton. Infill soil sampling of this anomalous area is planned prior to aircore drilling.
28 April 2022 - Corporate Geoscience Group ("CGSG") is pleased to announce it completed a detailed assessment of the Western Australian mining and mineral exploration sectors and ways to invest and/or participate in these sectors. This work was undertaken on behalf of a mid-tier client that is contemplating entry into the Western Australian resources sector.
22 December 2021 - Corporate Geoscience Group ("CGSG") is pleased to announce it completed a second lithostructural (solid geology) interpretation and targeting study on behalf of Sipa Resources Ltd (ASX:SRI). The study covered Sipa’s Warralong Project and surrounds, a large greenfields property in the northern Pilbara Craton, Western Australia. The Warralong Project, which is centered upon the crustal-scale Lalla Rookh Shear Zone, is prospective for gold and lithium.
CGSG delivered a new solid geology map for the area of interest using all available geological and exploration data, including (but not limited to) relevant scientific and government publications, published geology maps, WAMEX reports, and geochemistry, geophysical and drill hole information. Key findings of this work included, for example, (i) the identification of two releasing bends along the regionally significant Lalla Rookh Shear Zone that manifest themselves as kilometer-scale ‘horsetail splays’, (ii) the recognition of distinct fault-fracture corridors oblique to orthogonal to the Lalla Rookh Shear Zone, (iii) the identification of hundreds of greenstone slivers ‘caught up’ in one of the horsetail splays off the Lalla Rookh Shear Zone, and (iv) the generation of 8 target areas.
13 December 2021 - Corporate Geoscience Group ("CGSG") is pleased to announce it was again engaged by St Barbara Ltd (ASX:SBM). This multi-month, multi-consultant study was designed to generate (i) seamless, enhancement filtered gravity, magnetic, radiometric and remote sensing products, (ii) a new lithostructural (solid geology) map, (iii) conceptual and targeting models for orogenic gold systems, and (iv) state-of-the-art gold prospectivity models, covering the Leonora district and surrounds, an area of >27,000 km2 in the Eastern Goldfields Superterrane of the Archean Yilgarn Craton,
The targets generated in this study include a mix of broader target areas (e.g., highly prospective yet comparatively underexplored greenstone segments) as well as a set of discrete targets covering strata and structural settings that are typically mineralised elsewhere in the Yilgharn Craton.
The above work was undertaken in collaboration with our geophysical partner organisation Fathom Geophysics.
29 November 2021 - Corporate Geoscience Group ("CGSG") is pleased to announce it completed a detailed field review of high priority gold and base metals prospects at the Brook, Ravenswood and EinGold Projects held by Kronos Gold LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Tri-Star Group.

02 August 2021 - Corporate Geoscience Group ("CGSG") wishes to congratulate its client Bulletin Resources Ltd (ASX:BNR) on further greenfields exploration success at the Lake Rebecca gold project. According to BNR’s ASX Announcement, recent aircore “drilling by the company has discovered several mineralised gold zones in regolith now over a 7 km long strike.” The drilling targeted prospective fold structures identified in a previous study jointly undertaken by CGSG and Fathom Geophysics.
The drilled area is dominated by transported lake clays that are between 5 and 80 m thick. According to BNR, “much of the saprolite or weathered rock profile has been eroded away in parts by the more recent lake sediments, leaving minimal material that could have retained any supergene gold dispersion as a signature for deeper mineralisation. This localised lack of saprolite in parts of the drilled area is interpreted to have limited the effectiveness of aircore drilling in these areas and alternative methods to test these areas such as RC drilling or geophysical testing will be required as follow up.”
The mineralised intercepts returned from its recent AC drilling program have a comparable gold tenor and extent to the >0.10 g/t Au surface anomaly that led to the discovery of the nearby >1 Moz Au Rebecca gold deposit cluster by Apollo Consolidated Ltd (ASX:AOP).
Basement rock types intercepted in the aircore drilling are granodiorite, tonalite, ultramafics and amphibolite. These lithologies are the same as those seen further south and west in drilling along the Rebecca gold trend. This supports the interpretation by CGSG that the older Rebecca Complex has been separated into two parts by a younger granite.
12 July 2021 - Corporate Geoscience Group ("CGSG") is pleased to announce it completed (i) a detailed assessment of the Kimba uranium and polymetallic project, southern Gawler Craton, South Australia, and (ii) an associated generative study that lead to the identification of several new uranium, gold, graphite and iron ore exploration areas.
The study also lead to the client lodging over 20 new tenement applications for a total of almost 20,000 km2, prospective for a variety of commodities, in particular uranium, gold and base metals. Once the tenements are granted, the client will be one of the dominant landholders in the well-endowed Frome Basin and southern Gawler Craton.
The assessment and targeting work was undertaken on behalf of Tri-Star Group, an exploration and production company that actively participates in Australia’s resources industry and the Texas petroleum industry by exploring and unlocking frontier energy and mineral resources.

11 February 2021 - Corporate Geoscience Group ("CGSG") is excited about the AC drilling results announced today by its client Bulletin Resources Ltd (ASX:BNR). According to BNR’s ASX Announcement, the company identified a new, greater 2.4 km-long gold zone at its Lake Rebecca project, following up targets generated in a previous study jointly undertaken by CGSG and Fathom Geophysics.
Significant gold intercepts include, for example, 2 m @ 2.72 g/t Au from 33 m (incl. 1 m @ 4.86 g/t Au from 33 m) in hole 20LRAC087, 7 m @ 0.73 g/t Au from 76 m (incl. 1 m @ 2.03 g/t Au from 82 m to EOH) in hole 20LRAC169, or 8 m @ 0.51 g/t Au from 28 m in hole 20LRAC088.
The elevated gold grades in saprolite are considered by BNR as a possible supergene gold blanket above bedrock-hosted mineralisation. As discussed by BNR, the mineralised intercepts returned from its recent AC drilling program have a comparable gold tenor and extent to the >0.10 g/t Au surface anomaly that led to the discovery of the nearby >1 Moz Au Rebecca gold deposit cluster by Apollo Consolidated Ltd (ASX:AOP).
Planning is now underway by BNR to commence RC drilling beneath the supergene gold blanket and follow up additional targets along strike.

As outlined in PRU’s quarterly report (see p. 10) and Edikan Site Visit Presentation (see p. 82 to 91), exploration activities in Ghana focused on continued drilling of a mineralised granite identified at Esuajah Gap (e.g., 96.0 m @ 0.19 g/t Au from 430 m in hole EGRDD002; 89.0 m @ 1.18 g/t Au from 295.5 m in hole EGDD001, incl. 5.0 m @ 13.63 g/t Au from 319.0 m; and 52.2 m @ 1.96 g/t Au from surface in hole EGDD003, incl. 5.0 m @ 8.41 g/t Au from 20.2 m).
The intercepts returned to date show a similar grade distribution pattern to that observed in the Esuajah North and South deposits of better grade gold mineralization occurring at higher levels in the host granite. In addition, structural and petrographic studies indicate similar vein orientations and alteration parageneses to those observed in the Esuajah North and South orebodies.
Drilling of further holes to investigate the near surface extensions of the granite is currently underway.
